 
                              Job Description
Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders (POs) based on approved requisitions. Ensure accuracy and completeness of POs, including product specifications, quantities, and delivery dates. Follow up on POs with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and determine purchasing needs. Track incoming shipments and coordinate with the warehouse team for proper receipt and storage of goods. Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and assess market trends for price competitiveness. Provide recommendations to the Purchase Manager on alternative sourcing options. Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any changes or issues. Assist in negotiating pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings. Support initiatives to reduce procurement costs with maintenance of Standards. Monitor procurement costs and report any variances from the budget to the Purchase Manager. Assist in evaluating vendor performance by collecting feedback on delivery, quality, and pricing. Maintain an updated vendor database, including contact information, product offerings, and pricing. Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions, including POs, invoices, and delivery receipts. Assist in the preparation of reports on procurement activities, including cost analysis and savings.
